So Hot!!!
It's topping 90 here and the air is so thick with humidity that there really isn't much better to do than try to find a cool spot and sleep. So that's what we are doing here right now- How about you?? On a side note, mama doesn't like my dewclaws too much. This morning I was so excited to get out of my kennel for the night, I jumped up on her and punctured a hole in the back of her leg in the crease behind her knee. OUCH!! It hurt her, but I didn't mean to, I was just so excited...

Suka, you and Ciara really need to get together and have some fun. But we bet you live far away from us.
ReplyDeleteThose dewclaws can be nasty - Mom always has to remind the vet to cut them because we can catch them on so many things. Poor Dakota did that once and it was so painful for her.
Hope it cools down soon.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
What a beautiful picture of Suka :) We cut Eva's dewclaws when she was only a few days old.
ReplyDeleteSuka is just gorgeous! It was ~90 where we were at too- (Portland, OR) and Kirby wouldn't go in the sun. We would throw a toy, and he'd run to the edge of the shade and whimper until someone ran and got the toy for him. Talk about spoiled! Kirby doesn't have dewclaws or a tail, so we don't worry about that... :P I hope your leg is okay! Ouch!
ReplyDeleteOh is it too late to have dewclaws removed? My boston has hers and it's been snagged on blankets and everything else, but luckily it only bled once. No other injuries.
ReplyDeleteReuben had his dewclaws removed within a few days of being born.
